If you’re interested in a room at one of The Quarters short-stay properties, the first thing to do is get in touch by using our online contact form, and we’ll get back to you within 48 hours. At this stage, you’ll be asked to provide some basic personal details.
Once you’ve told us your preferred location and length of stay, we’ll provide you with the details of all suitable available rooms. The details will clearly show you all the costs involved, including check-in costs and your projected monthly/weekly/nightly rent/rates.
Liaising with the General Manager, who will potentially arrange for a meeting to show you the room(s),
you’ll agree a viewing schedule that suits you. They’ll meet you at the property, show you around the room(s) and clearly explain the terms and timeline.
If you decide to take the room and agree to the terms of License described to you, it’s time to make an offer and book the room. You’ll be asked for a Booking Fee – equivalent to a week rate.
Some special rules for references and guarantees
If you’re foreign student, we’ll need a character reference as well as confirmation from your college or university. You’ll also need to pay for your full stay in advance.
If you’re in full-time employment, you’ll need to show us that your monthly salary is at least 2 times the monthly amount.
If you require a guarantor, they’ll need to show us that their monthly salary is at least 2.5 times the monthly amount.
Check-in Monies comprise the following:
— Pro-rata nightly rate until the end of the month. If your check-in date is after the 15th day of the month, the pro rata rate will be charged until the end of the following month or stay.
— A deposit equivalent to 35 nightly rates to guarantee the standard of our rooms. We protect all deposits in a governmental segregated account to provide our guests with peace of mind.
NB. The initial Reservation Fee, mentioned in Step 4, is credited and will form part of your check-in monies.
You’ll need to pay the total check-in Monies 7 days before your check-in date, to ensure that funds have cleared our account. Once you’ve paid, the License is completed, and you’re all set to check in.
Before your check-in date, you should get in touch with the General Manager and let them know what time you plan to check-in. When you arrive, they’ll welcome you and ask to see a valid form of ID, i.e. your driving licence or passport.
Then they’ll briefly run through some key aspects of staying at The Quarters, how to use the guest’s portal and give you your Access Cards.
Now all you need to do is relax and enjoy your stay at The Quarters.
